First Gold Medal from Wushu in the 30th SEA Games Philippines 2019



Wushu has contributed the first gold medal for the Malaysian Contingent to the 30th SEA Games Philippines 2019.

Mr. Loh Choon How contributed the first gold medal for the Malaysian Contingent to the 30th SEA Games Philippines 2019. He won the gold medal in Wushu Men’s Taijiquan event with the highest score of 9.680, while the silver medal was won by Mr. Hosea Wong Zheng Yu of Brunei Darussalam (9.590) and the bronze medal won by Mr. Daniel Latawa of Philippines (9.560).

In the same venue, Mr. Wong Weng Son, had contributed the first silver medal for the Malaysian Contingent in Wushu Men’s Changquan event with the score of 9.680. The gold medal of this event was won by Mr. Yong Yi Xiang of Singapore (9.700) while the bronze medal won by Mr. Tran Xuan Hiep of Vietnam (9.600).

The OCM would like to congratulate these 2 athletes from Wushu for their remarkable achievements.
