Petanque has contributed the 23rd gold medal for the Malaysian Contingent to the 30th SEA Games Philippines 2019.
The gold medal was contributed by the following athletes through the Men’s Triples event:
1. Mr. Mohd Safi Azrol Othman
2. Mr. Syed Akmal Fikri Syed Ali
3. Mr. Saiful Bahri Musmin
4. Mr. Muhamad Hafizuddin Mat Daud
They have defeated their opponent from Thailand with the score of 13-11. The 2 bronze medals of this event were won by Vietnam and Laos respectively.
The OCM would like to congratulate these athletes for their remarkable achievement.
