Squash has contributed the 14th gold medal for the Malaysian Contingent to the 30th SEA Games Philippines 2019.
Ms. Rachel Arnold contributed the 14th gold medal through Squash Women’s Singles event by beating her teammate, Ms. Chan Yiwen in the Final with the points 11-9, 11-7 and 11-3.
The 2 bronze medals of this event were won by Ms. Au Yeong Wai Yhann of Singapore and Ms. Jemyca of Philippines.
For the record, this is the fourth gold medal won by Ms. Rachel Arnold in her participation in the SEA Games. She had earlier contributed 2 gold medals in the same event and the Women’s Team event at the 28th SEA Games Singapore 2015 and 1 gold medal in the Mixed Pair event at the 29th SEA Games Kuala Lumpur 2017.
