Malaysia competed at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England, from 28 July to 8 August 2022. It is Malaysia's 14th appearance at the Commonwealth Games.
Powerlifter Bonnie Bunyau Gustin and squash athlete Aifa Azman were the country's opening ceremony flagbearers.
Emblem
The emblem, designed by local agency RBL, is a blue and yellow "B" emblem linking the venues of the sporting events to be held as part of the Games. Locations referenced in the design are Stourbridge, Cannock, Sutton Coldfield, Walsall, Wolverhampton, West Bromwich, Birmingham, Solihull, Royal Leamington Spa and Coventry. The colour palette represents Birmingham as the youngest city in Europe.
Mascot
Perry, a bull adorned with a patchwork of multi-coloured hexagons and originating from Birmingham is the official mascot for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. Perry is designed by ten-year old Emma Lou from Bolton.
