The Games blended rich cultural heritage with world class winter sports facilities, delivering a memorable edition of the Winter Olympics and celebrating the 𝗢𝗟𝗬𝗠𝗣𝗜𝗖 𝗩𝗔𝗟𝗨𝗘𝗦 of 𝗘𝗫𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘, 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗧 and 𝗙𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣 on snow and ice.

The Malaysian Contingent concluded its campaign at the XXV Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026, marking Malaysia’s third consecutive appearance at the Olympic Winter Games. Represented by a single athlete, Aruwin Idami SALEHHUDDIN OLY competed in the Alpine Skiing Women’s Giant Slalom and Slalom events. Although she did not finish the Giant Slalom due to a technical error, Aruwin displayed remarkable resilience in the Slalom event, finishing 44th overall. She was among 53 out of 95 skiers from 57 NOCs who successfully completed the race, placing her among the top finishers of the five Asian skiers in the field. Her performance reflects Malaysia’s growing presence and competitiveness in winter sports at the highest level.

A key highlight of Malaysia’s participation was the strategic collaboration between NOC Malaysia and Universal Traveller Malaysia in producing specially designed winter apparel for the Malaysian Contingent. The bespoke attire, proudly reflecting Malaysian identity, was worn during the Opening Ceremony on Saturday, 6th February 2026 and the Closing Ceremony on Sunday, 22nd February 2026. The partnership underscores the important role of local industry in strengthening the Malaysian Contingent’s representation at Multi-Sport Games on the international stage.
