Dato’ Sieh Kok Chi, Honorary Member of OCM, presented the World Olympians Association (WOA) Certificate of Recognition to Mr. Lee Kah Fok on Saturday, 23 March 2019, in Kuala Lumpur.
Mr. Lee Kah Fok, 85 years old, an Olympian, was a member of our first Contingent to the Olympic Games, the XVI Olympic Games Melbourne 1956.
He took part in both the 100m and 200m events and achieved the following results:
- 100m – Round 1, Heat 12, ranked 5th with the timing 11.84s
- 200m – Round 1, Heat 8, ranked 6th with the timing 23.94s
The certification by the WOA is in recognition of his achievement as an Olympian in living and promoting the Olympic values. With this recognition, he is granted the use of the post-nominal OLY.
