Dr. Norza ZAKARIA had the great honour of paying a brief courtesy call on the IOC President-Elect, Mrs. Kirsty COVENTRY, during the two-day 45th OCA General Assembly. The meeting took place on Monday, 12th May 2025, around 4.30 pm, at the Waldoft Astoria Hotel in Kuwait.
“I am honoured to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mrs. Kirsty COVENTRY on behalf of the Olympic family in the Southeast Asia region, as well as from Malaysia” said Dr. Norza ZAKARIA.
“We look forward to strengthening the Olympic Movement across Southeast Asia under her leadership and through her five strategic priorities” he added.
