Dr. Norza ZAKARIA, President of NOC Malaysia and Vice President of OCA for Southeast Asia Zone, attended the final day of the Equestrian National Championship 2025, which was organised by the Equestrian Association of Malaysia (EAM), held from 26th to 28th September 2025, at the Bukit Kiara Equestrian & Country Resort.
The three-day championship, proudly presented by MBSB Bank, attracted close to 90 Equestrian enthusiasts from across Malaysia, who showcased their talents in a range of classes covering both Show Jumping and Dressage disciplines.
As one of the Guests of Honour, Dr. Norza ZAKARIA had the privilege of presenting the prizes to the top performers in the Class SJ26 event (40 cm–60 cm, Article: Optimum Time 84 seconds) as follows:
1. First Prize – Abidin AZMAN, riding Our Pinnacle, representing the BEST Club
2. Second Prize – Lu I Christer Easter KASAR, riding D’Samudera, representing the ATM Club Winning, representing the Pahang Equestrian Association.
3. Third Prize – Sharifah Allisya SYED ABDUL BAHARI @ FAROUK, riding Linus Van De Winning, representing the Pahang Equestrian Association.
“I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Equestrian Association of Malaysia, particularly its President, Syed Omar SYED ABU BAKAR ALMOHDZAR, for their unwavering dedication and hard work in raising the standard of Equestrian in the country” said Dr. Norza ZAKARIA.
He further acknowledged the important role of corporate and private sectors:
“I would also like to commend the corporate sector, especially MBSB Bank, as well as the facilities owner, the Bukit Kiara Equestrian & Country Resort, for stepping forward and supporting the continued growth and development of Equestrian in Malaysia” he added.
