The Management of OCM would like to congratulate Mr. Eddy Chew for successfully graduated from the course of Bachelor of Sports Science (Sports Management) from the University of Malaya on Monday, 14 October 2019.
Prior to his graduation, Eddy had completed a 3-month internship program at the OCM, from 18 February 2019 to 10 May 2019, where he was attached to all the departments to learn the processes and procedures of a number of programs and activities of OCM.
Besides assisting in the organisation of a few programs, he had also been given the opportunity to participate in the STEP Southeast Asia Youth Sports Leaders Camp held in Singapore (8-16 March 2019) and the IOC Sport Administrators Course held in Kuala Lumpur (22-24 March 2019).
Eddy was a national athlete having represented Malaysia in numerous international Shooting championships as well as in Multi-Sports Games under the purview of OCM.
One of his most remarkable achievements was contributing 4 medals for the Malaysian Contingent to the 27th SEA Games Myanmar 2013:
1. Gold – Men’s 50m Free Pistol
2. Silver – Men’s 10m Air Pistol
3. Bronze – Men’s 50m Free Pistol Team
4. Bronze – Men’s 10m Air Pistol Team
