The Malaysian Sports Commissioner, Dr. Wirdati Mohd Radzi today made a courtesy visit to the Olympic Council of Malaysia where open discussions were held with the OCM’s Executive Board members to strengthen the relationship between both parties.
Discussions centred on the governance and registration of sports associations, dispute arbitration process and the streamlining of educational programs to increase the number of qualified sports administrators.
Both parties agreed to formalise a working group to further discuss areas of common interests to enhance sports development in the country through the National Sports Associations.

“This meeting had been long overdue and I hope this will be the first of many meetings between both parties. I am sure we will find many areas to work on for the benefit of Malaysian sports.”
