The 189th OCM Executive Council Meeting and 38th OCM Annual General Assembly were held on Saturday, 15 June 2019, from 9.30 am to 12.00 pm, at the Tan Sri Hamzah Arena, Level 3, OCM Indoor Sports Complex, Jalan Hang Jebat, Kuala Lumpur. Both Meetings were chaired by Dato’ Sri Mohamad Norza Zakaria, President of OCM.
Present at the meetings were members of the Executive Board, delegates from National Sports Associations affiliated to OCM, Representatives from the National Sports Council (NSC), the National Sports Institute (NSI) and the Ministry of Education (MOE).
Besides the normal proceedings, the highlights of both meetings were as follows:
- Appointment of Dato’ Lee Chong Wei as the Chef de Mission of the Malaysian Contingent to the XXXII Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.
- Acceptance of the Malaysia Floorball Association (MFA) and Malaysia Skate Federation (MYSKATE) as an Associate Member of OCM.
- Adoption of the new Whistleblowing Policy for OCM.
- Adoption of the Athlete Management System (AMS) for the Multi-Sports Games Operations of OCM.
