Dato’ (Dr.) Chong Kim Fatt, Vice President of the OCM as well as Chef de Mission of the Malaysian Contingent to the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022, paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Mr. Yu Zaiqing, Vice President of the Chinese Olympic Committee (COC) and IOC Member in China, at the Xiaoshan Guali Sports Centre.
Both of them discussed the promotion and development of Wushu in general, as well as the inclusion of Wushu in the sport programme for major Multi-Sport Games at international, continental and regional levels.
Dato’ (Dr.) Chong Kim Fatt expressed his gratitude to H.E. Mr. Yu Zaiqing, who previously served as President of the International Wushu Federation (IWUF), for his unwavering support towards the development of Wushu in Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
At the conclusion of the courtesy visit, Dato’ (Dr.) Chong Kim Fatt, on behalf of OCM, presented an official souvenir, an exquisite pewter plate crafted by the renowned Royal Selangor, to H.E. Yu Zaiqing.
“I have also conveyed the best regards from the President of OCM, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr. Norza Zakaria,” said Dato’ (Dr.) Chong Kim Fatt.
