The OCM has kicked-off the discussion with the Sultan Idris Education University (UPSI) for the collaboration in the sports education and training programmes.
The OCM was represented by its Assistant Secretary General and Chairperson of Education and Training Committee, Ms. Moira Tan Siew See and the General Manager, Mr. Fong Wan Hor, at the discussion which was held on Monday, 28 November 2022 at the Faculty of Sports Science and Coaching of the UPSI in Tanjung Malim, Perak.
The Dean of the Faculty of Sports Science and Coaching, Dr. Jaffry Zakaria, expressed his gratitude to the OCM for having initiated the working together with the UPSI.
“We are looking forward to collaborate further with the OCM in the sports education and training programmes in the near future” stated Dr. Jaffry Zakaria.
“For a start, we will engage with the Faculty of Sports Science and Coaching to organize a session of the Sport Administrators Course (SAC) for their final year students, who are majoring in Sport Management, in 2023 as part of our Olympic Movement initiatives in the State of Perak” stated Ms. Moira Tan Siew See.
“On behalf of the OCM and our beloved President, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri (Dr.) Mohamad Norza Zakaria, we would also like to congratulate the UPSI for celebrating its 100th anniversary on Tuesday, 29 November 2022” added Ms. Moira Tan Siew See.
