A delegation from the Malaysian Gymnastics Federation (MGF) made a courtesy visit to OCM on Tuesday, 28 May 2019.
The MGF delegation consists of the following personnel:
- Rachel Lau (President)
- Afrita Ariany Nasril (Honorary Secretary)
- M. Raja Hamzah Abidin Raja Nong Chik (Treasurer)
- Ewan Saufi Abas (Assistant Honorary Secretary)
- Dato’ Shamrat Sen Gupta (Assistant Treasurer)
They were welcomed by Dato’ Sri Mohamad Norza Zakaria (President of OCM), Dato’ Seri Azim Zabidi (Deputy President of OCM) Dato’ Paduka Mumtaz Jaffar (Vice President of OCM), Ms. Moira Tan (Assistant Secretary General of OCM) and Mr. Chan Foong Keong (Assistant Secretary General of OCM).
Dato’ Sri Mohamad Norza Zakaria congratulated Ms. Rachel Lau for being elected as the new President of the MGF for the term of 2019-2021, effective from Saturday, 23 February 2019.
The MGF is one the earliest affiliate members of OCM having affiliated since 1957 (62 year ago).
The new line-up of MGF under the leadership of Ms. Rachel Lau is very committed for the development of Gymnastics at grassroots level.
The MGF is looking forward to work closely with the OCM to enhance their participation and performance in the future Multi-Sports Games under the jurisdiction of OCM.
