The much-loved and respected journalist, Tony Francis has left us at the age of 73 earlier today, 21 December 2020.
The talented media practitioner, Francis was well-known in the industry as he had covered two Olympics (Seoul 1988 and Barcelona 1992) and also other sporting spectacles such as the Thomas Cup, SEA Games and Asian Games.
His contribution to the sports industry also saw him inducted to the Olympic Council of Malaysia Hall Of Fame in 2015.
His passing is a big loss to the sporting fraternity. The legendary journalist will surely be missed.
