Malaysian Contingent marks third consecutive appearance at the Olympic Winter Games

Malaysia has once again etched its name in sporting history as the Malaysian Contingent makes its third consecutive appearance at the Olympic Winter Games. This historic milestone will be realised at the XXV Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026, scheduled to take place from 6th to 22nd February 2026 in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy.

This remarkable achievement reflects the continued commitment and long-term vision of the Olympic Council of Malaysia (NOC Malaysia) in the development of winter sports, as well as its unwavering support in enabling Malaysian athletes to compete on the world’s highest winter sports stage.

Members of the Malaysian Contingent at the XXV Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 are as follows:

In conjunction with this historic hat-trick appearance, NOC Malaysia, in collaboration with Universal Traveller Malaysia, has produced a distinctive winter apparel ensemble to represent the Malaysian Contingent during the Opening Ceremony, scheduled to be held on Friday, 6th February 2026 at 8.00 pm (Italy Time), which corresponds to Saturday, 7th February 2026 at 3.00 am (Malaysia Time).

The specially designed winter apparel features an elegant all-white winter jacket and pants, emblazoned with the word “𝗠𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗬𝗦𝗜𝗔” prominently positioned over the heart. Complementing the outfit is a custom-designed beanie featuring a stylised “M” calligraphy, symbolising “𝗠𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗬𝗦𝗜𝗔” along with coordinated black and white gloves and brown winter boots. Together, the ensemble presents a stylish, modern and dignified appearance, allowing the Malaysian Contingent to stand out with confidence and national pride during the Opening Ceremony.
