Sport Administrators Course No. 3 (2025)

The OCM Education and Training Committee conducted the Sport Administrators Course No. 3 (2025) for 34 sports officials, 19 males (55.9 %) and 15 females (44.1 %), from various sports across the state of Pahang, held from 3rd to 5th October 2025 at the Pahang Sports Council in Kuantan, Pahang.

The Course was conducted by 2 accredited National Course Directors (NCDs), namely Ms. Kalaivalli R. Ratnam and Mr. Fong Wan Hor, with the support of Ms. Moira Tan Siew See and Mr. Chong Choong Seong as facilitators, as well as Ms. Mutiara Bahir and Mr. Muhammad Syahir Ab Aziz as invited facilitators. In addition, Mr. Mohd Azril Adzhar of the Pahang Sports Council was invited to deliver a session on ethical issues related to doping.

The Opening Ceremony of the Course was officiated by Tuan Haji Khairul Anuwar Abu Bakar, Member of Management Committee of the Pahang Sports Council, on Friday, 3rd October 2025.

In his opening speech, he expressed his sincere gratitude, on behalf of the Pahang Sports Council, to the OCM for organizing the Sports Administrators Course in the State of Pahang for the very first time. He further urged all sports officials to pay full attention throughout the Course and to acquire as much knowledge as possible, in order to strengthen sports administration and management at all levels within the State of Pahang.

The Closing Ceremony and Presentation of Certificates were officiated by Ms. Moira Tan Siew See, Assistant Secretary General of OCM and Chairperson of the OCM Education and Training Committee, on Sunday, 5th October 2025.

“On behalf of Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr. Mohamad Norza Zakaria, President of OCM and Vice President of OCA, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to the Pahang Sports Council for the collaboration in organising the third Sport Administrators Course in Kuantan” quoted Moira Tan Siew See in her closing speech.

“It is our hope that all 34 sports officials from Pahang, who have successfully completed the Course, have learnt the 𝗢𝗟𝗬𝗠𝗣𝗜𝗖 𝗩𝗔𝗟𝗨𝗘𝗦 of 𝗘𝗫𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘, 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗧 and 𝗙𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣 as they carry out their duties and responsibilities within their respective organisations” she added.
