The 25th National Olympic Academy Session for Young Participants 2023 concluded on a high note on Friday, 2nd June 2023, marking the successful culmination of an enriching and transformative experience for all 22 local participants and 8 international participants.

The closing ceremony, a momentous occasion, was graced by the presence of Dato’ Mohd Nazifuddin, Secretary General of the OCM, who officiated the event and presented the certificates to the participants.

Mr. Chang I Hao from the NOC of Chinese Taipei was given the opportunity to deliver a speech on behalf of all the international participants.

“Thank you to OCM and NOA for inviting us (NOCs of China, Chinese Taipei, Indonesia, Korea, Lao, Vietnam & Thailand) to participate in this program. The lectures, discussions, and insights we have gained throughout this program will undoubtedly benefit our respective National Olympic Committees. This experience has been truly unforgettable, and we will forever cherish the wonderful memories created here” quoted Chang I hao.

Adding to the excitement of the event, Mr. Vijay Unni Suresh Unni and Ms. Farah Ann Abdul Hadi were announced the “Best Male and Best Female Participants” of the 25th National Olympic Academy Session for Young Participants, respectively. They will be representing OCM at the upcoming International Olympic Academy Session for Young Olympic Ambassadors, scheduled to take place in Athens and Olympia, Greece, from 10th to 22nd June 2023.

In his closing speech, Dato’ Mohd Nazifuddin thanked all the participants and moderators for their unwavering commitment and valuable contributions throughout the program, which spanned from Monday, 29th May 2023.

“I am delighted that we were able to bring all of you together to partake in the NOA Session and I am confident that the 5-day spent here has left an indelible mark on each one of you, creating memories to be cherished for a lifetime”,

“The lessons on the various topics covered during the session, is important to the Olympic movement. The OCM hopes that each one of you will carry this invaluable knowledge back to your respective organizations, sharing it with your colleague, friends and family”,

“It is my sincerest hope that you will all keep in the spirit of the Olympic Movement to stay in touch with one another. The world needs bonds of fellowship and international cooperation more than ever” stated Dato’ Mohd Nazifuddin.

Dato’ Mohd Nazifuddin presented certificates of participation to all 30 participants and moderators, symbolizing the successful completion of their inspiring journey at the 25th National Olympic Academy Session for Young Participants.
