XXXIII Olympic Games Paris 2024 – Chef De Mission Visit

Datuk Hamidin Mohd Amin, Chef de Mission of the Malaysian Contingent to the XXXIII Olympic Games Paris 2024, paid a visit to the two (2) divers, under the Road to Gold (RTG) Programme, Dato’ Pandelela Rinong Pamg OLY and Nur Dhabitah Sabri OLY, at the National Aquatics Centre in Bukit Jalil on Tuesday, 18th April 2023.

Datuk Hamidin Mohd Amin, who was accompanied by his deputy, Datuk Nicol Ann David, was warmly welcomed by Ms. Mae Chen, Secretary General of the Malaysia Swimming Federation (MSF).

They spent some time listening to the needs and requests by both the Olympic divers.

“I have assured both Dato’ Pandelela and Dhabitah that I will bring up their matters for further discussion at the RTG Committee”,

“As the Chef de Mission, I am committed to settle a few matters pertaining to the divers as soon as possible to enable them to focus 100% for their preparation to Paris 2024”,

“InsyaAllah with the effort from all parties, Dato’ Pandelela and Dhabitah will be able to earn their Olympic Qualification at the World Aquatics Championships in Fukuoka, Japan in the coming month of July“ stated Datuk Hamidin Mohd Amin.

Meanwhile, Datuk Nicol Ann David explained to both the Olympic divers that the RTG Programme is not to put pressure on them but to close the gap and to ensure that they receive the best services for their preparation.
