Dato’ Chong Kim Fatt, the Chef de Mission of the Malaysian Contingent, who arrived in Hangzhou on 17th September 2023, attended his first physical Chefs de Mission Meeting held on Tuesday, 19th September 2023, at the NOC Service Centre in the Athletes Village.
The Chefs de Mission Meeting, which was chaired by Mr. Vinod Kumar Tiwari, the Acting Director General of OCA, covered the following matters:
1. T1 Transportation Services
2. Election of OCA Athletes Committee
3. Anti-Doping Programme by ITA
4. Services and Facilities in the Athletes Village
5. Opening Ceremony
Dato’ Chong Kim Fatt expressed his gratitude to the OCA and HAGOC for having upgraded the T1 Transportation Services to all Chefs de Mission of each NOC.
“The T1 vehicles allocated for NOC Presidents and NOC Secretaries General should be made available to pick up our NOC President and NOC Secretary General upon their arrival in Hangzhou International Airport” quoted Dato’ Chong Kim Fatt in his request for the consideration of the OCA and the HAGOC during the Chefs de Mission Meeting.
Dato’ Chong Kim Fatt also extended the warm regard and appreciation from the President of NOC Malaysia, Dr. Norza Zakaria, to Mr. Vinod Kumar Tiwari for the great assistance provided by him in facilitating the participation of the Malaysian Contingent in the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022.
